About
I have always enjoyed sewing and as a mum of two I loved sewing for them. I found that as my son, who has a rare genetic disorder, grew older I could not find affordable bodysuits or wondersuits for his age. So I started sewing my own. I then found myself sewing for people I knew who were in the same boat and realised there was a gap there for affordable adaptive clothing in NZ. I admit I am not a trained sewist having learnt from my mother, mother-in-law and by trial and error, but I love it and I love helping people in this way.
I try to have things made within a week of receiving orders, unless there is a problem with fabric or something comes up at home with the family but I will always contact clients to let them know how their order is coming along. I try to have a range of fabric options but if there is a particular fabric option, colour or interest that you would like and you can’t see it please just message and I will see what I can do about sourcing that for you. The same goes if you would like a particular item of clothing made. I have a lot of patterns so it is likely that I have, or can get, what you want so please just message.
